Well, it is not correct. ANT_HOME (with capital
letters) is the place where ant is installed, in your
case it should be
set ANT_HOME=D:\apache-ant-1.6.2.

Next you should set your PATH to contain ant launching
scripts:
set PATH=%PATH%;%ANT_HOME%/bin

Now if the command
ant -version
gives you the version of the Ant you are using, you
have installed it correctly.
