Subject AW: calling targets from macrodefs
Date Thu, 24 Feb 2005 06:48:16 GMT
You can call other targets - simply with <antcall>.
Just replace <foo/> with <antcall target="foo"/> and that should work.

Or another design:
Place the stuff from <target name="foo"> in a <macrodef name="foo.md"> and
you could call that <foo.md> from
the target "foo" and from inside the macrodef.

Betreff: calling targets from macrodefs

Hi,

Please excuse the somewhat newbie-ish question, but is it possible to call
an ant target from within a macrodef?

The attached file contains a simplified example.

When run, I get the following error:

"Ant could not find the task or a class this task relies upon...."

Many Thanks!
- Michael
