You could use shellscript from ant-contrib:

<project default="ls" xmlns:ac="antlib:net.sf.antcontrib">
  <target name="ls">
    <ac:shellscript shell="bash">
      echo `ls -rtla`
    </ac:shellscript>
  </target>
