I tried exactly that, and I get
'The <path> data type doesn't support the nested "present" element.'

I didn't test this, but I think it should work; the manual says that <src>
acts as a fileset, so I would think you could use a selector...

<javac destdir="${dest}">
	<src dir="${local}"/>
    	<src dir="${shared}">
    		<present present="srconly" targetdir="${local}"/>
	</src>
</javac>
