Ok. Thanks for the information. 

I'm using Ant 1.6.2 version that is integrated with Eclipse 3.0 IDE. Instead
of patching or downgrading I think I will call the winzip external process
using <exec> core task ...

Hello Gaetano,
you have found a bug of ant 1.6.2 which is fixed in the HEAD revision 
in  CVS, and which did not exist in ant 1.6.1
So either you download ant 1.6.1 or you can patch your Zip.class in ant.jar
