Subject recompling modified files only
Date Mon, 27 Sep 2004 15:12:11 GMT
Hi,
<><>I want to put the build.xml file into each of the subdirectories of
the package tree,
because I wan't to list the files into each directory (I dont wnat to
use "*.java" or similar),
but when doing that "ant" read (to get package name<><>) and compile
each file .

Here's an example:

src/foo/bar:
A.java
------
package foo.bar;
class A {}

B.java:
-------
package foo.bar;
class B {}

build.xml
---------
<project default="build">
  <target name="build">
    <javac srcdir="." destdir="path/to/bin" includes="A.java B.java"/>
  </target>
</project>

"ant" opens the files A.java and B.java to get the package name "foo.bar"
"and" creats into "path/to/bin" the subdirectories "foo/bar"

path/to/bin/foo/bar/:
A.class B.class

My problem is that "ant" always recompiles the files.
Thanks in advance.
