Subject Unable to delete Jar File
Date Wed, 08 Sep 2004 17:37:11 GMT
Hi,

I am using Ant 1.5.4 to build my software. The build file pre-compiles
the JSP using the
jasper2 task.

*************************

<taskdef name="jasper2" classname="org.apache.jasper.JspC" >

   <classpath id="jspc.classpath">
        <pathelement location="${java.home}/../lib/tools.jar"/>

  <fileset dir="${tomcat.location}/bin">
          <include name="*.jar"/>
        </fileset>

        <fileset dir="${tomcat.location}/server/lib">
          <include name="*.jar"/>
        </fileset>
        <fileset dir="${tomcat.location}/common/lib">
          <include name="*.jar"/>
        </fileset>
      </classpath>
    </taskdef>

    <jasper2
             verbose='9' validateXml="false"
             uriroot="${dir.build}"
             webXmlFragment="${dir.web.studio}/generated_web.xml"
             outputDir="${dir.web.studio}/src" />

  </target>

After compiling the jsp's I delete all the jar files used for compiling.

But it is not deleting the jar files.

I am using the compiler as extJavac and also have set fork to be true.
But it seems to me that it locks the jar files and so I can not delete
them.
What is the workaround for this ?

Can any one please help ?

Thanks,
Preeti
