As Matt Benson asked you when you first posted your question, what did you
type on your command line to invoke this Ant script? That is likely a key
part of the problem....

When you invoked the Ant script, were you in the same directory as your
build.xml file? If not, that could be part of the problem.

Have you ever successfully run any Ant script before? I have the impression
that this is your very first Ant script but if that is wrong, it would be
useful to know that.

What version of Ant are you running and on what platform?

Also, the 'name' of your target looks wrong to me, although I can't say for
sure. I've never seen slashes in a target name before. I can't find anything
specific in the manual that says slashes may not appear in a target name but
I may have missed it. You might want to try changing the value of your
target name to something that doesn't have slashes in it, like 'target1',
and see if that makes a difference.
