as long as the binary you are executing is non-interactive
you can accomplish this functionality thru exec'ing the rsh command
take a look at

I would like to use the telnet task to log on to a remote production server,
run a script, capture it's "exit status" and then do stuff in my ant build
file based on the value of that exit status. is it possible to do that?
