Subject RE: Interacting/killing process created from exec
Date Fri, 25 Jun 2004 16:50:26 GMT
Re CTRL-C: I didn't realize that is how it is handled. Is there a way of
sending CTRL-C to the process started with exec?

Re known bug: Does the bug address ant hanging or the nested process not
being killed? In my case, I want the nested processes (cmd.exe and
myprogram.exe) to go away. Currently only cmd.exe goes away. Ant is
waiting for the second nested process (myprogram.exe) to exit so that
the output stream is closed.

The closes bugs I could find are:

Only from files, see the input attribute.

CTRL-C doesn't use input at all, it causes you shell to send a signal
to the process. It never reaches your process as anything else but a
signal.

This may be due to a known bug in Ant that will be fixed in Ant 1.6.2.
