Subject: property name iinterpolation

Does Anyone know if I the following:

<property name="p1" value="p3"/>
<property name="p2" value="p4"/>
<property name="p3.p4" value="SOME VALUE"/>

<echo message="${${p1}.${p2}}"/>

makes sense in ant or it is against ant's religion?

The output is: ${${p1}.p4}

It seems there is some "property name interpolation" is going on
(${p2}), if I can use such terminology.

Anyway, I maybe off topic a little here, but is there a way to get the
above ${${p1}.${p2}} to output "SOME VALUE", which what vaoule of
${p3.p4} is?

Mind you I'm not java inclined person.

Thanks in advance.
