There is another tool of the same kind, Cruise Control. Both these tools provide integration in a smoother way. I find that BuildMonkey is very easy to configure Projects, Builds, Schedule etc. things, while Cruise Control asks for editing xml files manually by doing a lot of excessive file system operations. However, BuildMonkey provides central place for the builds produced. What I could not find in BuildMonkey is notification system for builds. If a build fails, succeeds or some other event, there shall be a notification mechanism abt the result, just like the publishing system in Cruise Control. I would like to know, if there is any other way of notification or can we extend it in any other way in terms of writing plugins.
