Subject Re: Issues with <java> vs <exec>
Date Fri, 14 May 2004 12:38:51 GMT
Hi Jan!

Thank you for the response!

This works nicely:
<target name="tickerclock">
    <exec executable="java">
      <env key="CLASSPATH"
       path="${clink_jar}:${xerces_jar}:${xml_jar}:${classes}"/>
       <arg line="clock.ComputerClock 'Computer Clock'"/>
    </exec>
</target>

When using java task anyway, I found a way to supply a name for the new
window..
<target name="old tickerclock">
    <java classname="clock.TickerClock"
          classpath="${clink_jar}:${xerces_jar}:${xml_jar}:${classes}"
          fork="true"
          spawn="true">
       <arg value="Ticker Clock"/>
       <arg value=">> text output"/>
    </java>
</target>
But this still doesn't give a way to save the output..

Rob
:)
