Subject Capturing standard and error output from java with spawn="true"
Date Sat, 15 May 2004 15:31:37 GMT
Hi All!

As Matt Benson pointed out in this list earlier, output/error are
incompatible with spawn="true" in a java target such as:

<target name="tickerclock">
    <java classname="clock.TickerClock"
          classpath="${clink_jar}:${xerces_jar}:${xml_jar}:${classes}"
          fork="true"
          spawn="true">
    </java>
</target>

Can anyone suggest how I can capture standard and error output in this
case?
I do not control the code so I cannot have it output to anywhere else..

Any ideas would be most appreciated!

Rob
