Subject <javadoc>'s <tag> for JDK 1.4+
Date Tue, 18 May 2004 22:08:14 GMT
Unless I'm mistaken, Ant (1.6.0) doesn't output the scope information
specified in the <tag> nested element of <javadoc>!? If I use:

<javadoc ...>
  ...
  <!-- Custom tags for JavaBeans -->
  <tag name="beaninfo.class" scope="types" />
  <tag name="beaninfo.method" scope="methods" />
</javadoc>

I see the following command being run (from -verbose):

Generating Javadoc
Executing 'C:\pro\jdk1.4.2\bin\javadoc.exe' with arguments:
...
'-tag'
'beaninfo.class'
'-tag'
'beaninfo.method'
...
'@P:\com_lgc\acme/package-list'

when I would have expected:

'-tag'
'beaninfo.class:t'
'-tag'
'beaninfo.method:m'

Note the additional :t and :m prefixes to the tag names. Was this already
corrected in CVS or 1.6.1? Thanks, --DD
