Subject RE: some doubts.
Date Fri, 07 May 2004 13:32:03 GMT
OK sir!

I have some doubts on ANT too..
I need to compile a database procedure through ANT's sql task.
but it seems that, it executes the procedure line by line instead of whole procedure.

If I give any insert/update statements within the SQL file it works fine.
any solutions?

This is the structure I am using within sql task.

  <target name="db-update">
<!--
    <echo message="No db patches to apply. Skipping."/>
-->
    <echo message="Applying db patches."/>
    <sql driver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
      url="jdbc:oracle:thin:@${env.ORACLE_HOST}:1521:iflex" userid="user123" password="${env.ORACLE_PASSWORD}">
        <transaction src="${dist-db}/db-patch.sql"/> <!-- fileset tag is not working
here -->
    </sql>

  </target>

Thanks in advance,
Vinod.

I'd rather recommend the Junit mailing list:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/junit/

And before asking your questions, first do a search - there is a high
chance that they already got answered several times before.

There is - in fact there is more than one. See
http://www.xprogramming.com/software.htm

Cheers, Ilja
