Subject Zip file Behaviour
Date Wed, 05 May 2004 09:04:59 GMT
whenempty behavior when no files match. Valid values are "fail", "skip", and
"create". Default is "skip".

However, i ran a test target with -debug switch. the patternset shows no
files to include in the zip file. an empty zip file is still created even if
i give whenempty attribute.. and whatever i give the attribute as.

   <target name="testzip-god">
     <zip destfile="testzip-god.ear" whenempty="skip">
       <fileset dir="coreear" />
     </zip>
   </target>

The directory is empty in my case.

what am i doing wrong here?

There is an entry in the bugzilla. bug no 22865. It is resolved as
worksforme.

is this a problem only with windows machines?

Pawan
