I prefer to have nothing in the subject line except the subject. I hate 
   having to scroll or mouse around to make long subject lines readable, 
and adding a [ant-user] will just make that worse.

Especially when I'm reading the mailing list on my small screen 
hand-held ;)  - actually I already have my mail reader window maximized 
on 1280xwhatever and sometimes it's still not wide enough.

The most infuriating ones are "DO NOT REPLY [Bug 277705]: New bla bla " 
from Apache's bugzilla.

Just my 2 cents worth.
