w/out restrictions: yes (see license)
pro/cons: see http://ant.apache.org/manual/antexternal.html

For copying have a look at oata.util.FileUtils also (maybe the whole
package would be interesting for you).

As example you could have a look at the test sources. Some of them
are initializing the tasks via Java API.
