There are 3rd party tasks for dependency checking. See the
external task page [1]. (Maybe you´ll find some more useful
things :-) A quick search there shows "GenJar" and "Javamake".

Maybe you can include JBuilders archiver via <exec> or <java>,
but that sounds for a hack ...

For further help, why there are no jars created we need more information:
- the target code (not) creating the archive
- a "-verbose" output of that target
- a cup of coffee (oh, is already here :)
- an overview of your directory structure

I guess directory layout would be something like
/ JARs are created into this dir
/bak backup files (not needed here)
  /classes compiled classes
  /doc javadoc
  /src sources

Subject: Ant Build Problems

hi there..

iam a new ant user..
i have generated a build.xml from jbuilder.
then i used that build.xml for ant.it was compiling fine. the .war
is also created.but when the jars are to be build, ant quits
with message

BUILD FAILED
The "Include class dependencies" feature of JBuilder archives is not
directly supported by Ant. The JAR created
by Ant may not have some required classes.

but i find no jars created atleast.

can any one guide me..
