Subject <env> task?
Date Wed, 05 Nov 2003 17:55:18 GMT
I didn't get any reply, not sure if my message went
out. So let me try again.

Is there a task or way to get the return result of
running a command? For example, store the
result of unix command 'pwd' to an envionment
variable.

 Basically, I need a target similiar to the one
 below, but I need to use "get" instead of
 "set" arg-line below to get the old
 classpath first, then "set" the new classpath
 to add a few classes/jars before the old
 classapth.

 Would it be possible and how?

 Thanks,

 -Tony

<target name="server-classpath" depends="init">
  <exec executable="${SE_HOME}/bin/asadmin"
                       failonerror="false">
      <arg line="set"/>
      <arg line="--user ${SUT_USERNAME} "/>
      <arg line="--password ${SUT_PASSWD}"/>
      <arg line="--host ${SUT_HOST}"/>
      <arg line="--port ${SUT_ADMIN_PORT} "/>

 <argline="java-config.classpath=${jaxb.classpath}:${SE_LIB}/classes12.zip"/>
  </exec>
</target>
