Subject AW: <sql> doesn't work (Ant 1.6)
Date Fri, 03 Oct 2003 13:24:38 GMT
Hi William,

There is in ant1.6 a new attribute for the sql class keepformat. Try to add
keepformat="true" in your <sql ...> invocation.
Let us know if this helps.
Antoine

Betreff: <sql> doesn't work (Ant 1.6)

I'm trying to use the <sql> task with MySQL, but it doesn't work. If I use
the src attribute:

    <sql
      driver="${driver}"
      url="jdbc:mysql://${jdbc.server}/${jdbc.database}"
      userid="${mysql.ff.user}"
      password="${mysql.ff.passwd}"
      src="ff-schema.sql">
      <classpath
path="../jboss/deploy/mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable-bin.jar"/>
    </sql>

the line-breaks are removed, and #comments are misinterpreted.

If instead I use the loadfile task:

  <loadfile srcfile="ff-schema.sql" property="sql.ct"/>
  <sql ..>${sql.ct}</sql>

then MySQL apparantly only gets the first 419 chars.

I'm using Ant 1.6 from 30sep. Anybody know what's going on?
