Subject RE: Modify files inside zip
Date Thu, 16 Oct 2003 14:46:42 GMT
This idea is actually somewhat implemented in zipfileset, isn't it?

An other approach would be to be able to use filters in zip-like tasks.
Something like:

<zip destfile="myOutputFile.zip">
	<zipfileset src="myInputFile.zip" includes="**/*.xml"/>
	<filter>
		<expandproperties/>
	</filter>
</zip>

And if we allow myInputFile.zip to be the same than myoutputFile.zip, it the
same than editing a file inside a zip file... But that might be trickier.

Would it be easy to add the filtering in zip-like tasks?
