Hi Anukampa,

you need to check the following environment variables :
JAVA_HOME
PATH

you do not need anything special in CLASSPATH from your JDK.

as an example, on my PC JAVA_HOME is set to : C:\j2sdk1.4.1_02
ANT_HOME is set to C:\ant

and PATH is set to :
%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Programme\c
ygwin\bin;C:\Programme\cygwin\usr\local\bin\i686-pc-cygwin32;C:\Programme\cy
gwin\usr\local\bin\i686-pc-cygwin;%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%ANT_HOME%\bin;

(within the Control Panel/System Control/System, then extended tab, then
environment variables button)

Cheers,

Antoine
