Subject How to use Weblogic's ant taskdef DDInit in a build file?
Date Thu, 02 Oct 2003 15:44:15 GMT
Hi:

I have Weblogic 7.0 and I'm trying to generate de
deployment descriptor for an EJB via an ant build file

I'm able to invoke the command like this:

<target name="generate.ejb.ejb20.DD">
        <java
classname="weblogic.ant.taskdefs.ejb20.DDInit"
classpath="D:/bea/weblogic700/server/lib/weblogic.jar"
fork="yes">
            <arg
line="${generate.ejb.DD.rootDirectory}"/>
        </java>
    </target>

It prints this output:

generate.ejb.ejb20.DD:

masteringEJBs.chapter07.HelloHome
masteringEJBs.chapter07.Hello
masteringEJBs.chapter07.HelloBean
masteringEJBs.chapter07.LocalHelloHome

  </enterprise-beans>
  <assembly-descriptor>

      </method>
      <trans-attribute>Required</trans-attribute>
    </container-transaction>
  </assembly-descriptor>
</ejb-jar>

But it doesnt generate the XML files in the META-INF
directory I have. so when i run EJBC later it fails.

Any ideas or an example of a build file that uses
DDInit?

Thanks
Rodrigo Martinez
