Subject Re: -----HOW TO RUN AN EXECUTABLE FROM ANT; NEWBIE; HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Date Fri, 26 Sep 2003 20:41:56 GMT
This is how build.xml file looks like with the same result:

---------------------------------

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<project name="dev" default="all" basedir=".">
    <!-- (2) Create the class path -->
    <path id="common.class.path">
        <pathelement location="/opt/bea/weblogic81/server/lib/weblogic.jar"/>
    </path>
    <!-- create a reference for the class path utilized -->
    <property name="common.class.path" refid="common.class.path" />

    <target name="undeploybiko">
        <echo message="Undeploying the application from biko"/>
        <exec dir="{$basedir}/applications" executable="/opt/bea/weblogic81/server/bin/app
lications/unDeployfromBiko2-t.sh">
        </exec>
    </target>
    <target name="all" depends="undeploybiko" />

</project>

---------------

The exception is:

----------------------

root@reliant2# ./ant undeploybiko
Buildfile: build.xml
undeploybiko:
     [echo] Undeploying the application from biko
BUILD FAILED
file:/opt/bea/weblogic81/server/bin/build.xml:15: The directory you specified does not exist
Total time: 4 seconds

The dir attribute is the directory in which the execution should take place. It does not
identify the location of the executable. Give the full path in the executable attribute.
