The problem is that there is no such command and providing an
approximation would lead to bug reports of Ant quoting arguments the
wrong way (and has in the past, that's why we are using the current
output).

<exec> will not use a single command line, instead it will use a
method of java.lang.Runtime that passes the command line presplit into
an array of Strings - and Ant's debug output shows you the array.
