Sure enough. Then it's a logic error.

<target ... if="prop"> will only run if Property 'prop' is defined.
<target ... unless="prop"> runs only if Property 'prop' is *NOT* defined.

In either case, prop's value is irrelevant, which is often confusing. --DD
