Subject RE: Variables to EXEC
Date Fri, 08 Aug 2003 06:15:02 GMT
Thanks a lot. It was just that my .exe does not accept a path with "/" as
attribute.
So I had to change the <exec dir= to where the attribute is.

Now it works.

I tried

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<project name="test" basedir="." default="main">
    <target name="main">

        <exec executable="cmd.exe">
            <arg line="/K dir c:\temp"/>
        </exec>

        <property name="drive" value="c:"/>
        <property name="path" value="temp"/>
        <exec executable="cmd.exe">
            <arg line="/K dir ${drive}\${path}"/>
        </exec>

    </target>
</project>

on my windows machine and that works ...
