You might want to use attribute "command" instead of "executable" for
command line arguments

	<exec command="cmd.exe" failonerror="true" vmlauncher="false">

Subject: Error calling cmd from ANT with <exec>

Hi,

here is a problem i am having when trying to create a PVCS Dimensions
baseline from ANT using <exec>. The command i am trying works well in the
shell, but not with ant.

Are there any hints??

Another easier command Create Directory doesnt also run.

  <target name="pvcs-create-baseline" depends="probe-for-pvcsclient">
    <exec executable="cmd.exe" failonerror="true" vmlauncher="false">
      <arg line="/c cmdclient -user xxx-pass xxx-host s96pi4v1.edc.xxx.com
-install /var/xxx/dimensions7_2 -dbname xxx -dbpass -sqlnet prod.edc.xxx.com
-cmd CWSD src"/>
    </exec>
  </target>

It just returns the same output as when i am calling cmdclient -help (or
doing something wrong). The same task with the -version option instead the
-cmd works!

Does anybody uses ANT to connect to PVCS Dimensions???

I just want to make a Baseline and fetch any item in this baseline!
