    You can use the construction below...But i dont know if this will 
cause the same effect !

<target name="foo">
    <antcall target="bar">
       <param name="do.bar" value="true"/>
    </antcall>
  </target>

<target name="bar" if="do.bar">
   <echo message="Ant is cool. "/>
</target>
