Subject javac & explicit fileset
Date Sun, 31 Aug 2003 00:15:40 GMT
Hello,

I know that this file could have been compiled with the
<javac srcdir=./> srcdir attribute, but I wanted to learn
about filesets. I think the following is correct usage,
but it gets the error below.

(This build.xml and HelloWorld.java are in the same directory,
/home/paul/bugrep).

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<project name="hello" basedir="." default="javac">
    <target name="compile">
        <javac>
            <src>
                <fileset dir=".">
                    <include name="**/*.java"/>
                </fileset>
            </src>
        </javac>
    </target>
</project>

BUILD FAILED
file:/home/paul/bugrep/build.xml:5: /home/paul/bugrep/HelloWorld.java is
not a directory.

Am I way off? Why doesn't this work?

Thanks,

Paul Humhrey
