It uses the same "encryption" that CVS uses when you do a cvs login.
I.e. it obfuscates the password a little but the algorithm is well
known and nothing you would call encryption.  Don't trust it for
sensitive passwords in a multi-user environment.

Try a cvs login from the command line and see how/if the entry
differs.
