Subject RE: Obfuscation Task in Ant
Date Thu, 31 Jul 2003 14:07:13 GMT
Thanks for the tip. I have downloaded it, and from what I can see, it
certainly is more versatile. The proof is in the muddling however, so I'll
see how the obfuscations go.

ProGuard rocks, the rest sucks!

J2SE, J2EE, TINI, MIDP/CLDC, ...!
See http://proguard.sourceforge.net.

It has dedicated Ant-tasks, but I have not used those. The obfuscater itself
works, which the rest do not - not in a generic way - !

Try it.

  Morten Sabroe Mortensen

Subject: Obfuscation Task in Ant

Does anyone have a recommendation for Java code obfuscation in Ant? I
have
been working with Jobfuscator's eval package, as well as yGuard (open
source), but each seems limited. Has anyone used anything else (or
experienced these)?
Cheers,
John
