Subject Borland bcc32 : Ant-Contrib Cpptasks
Date Wed, 09 Jul 2003 01:01:27 GMT
Can anyway verify or comment on why I had to make these changes to stop the
build from hanging??
The "-?" had to be removed and the "-fo" switch appears not to be a valid
compiler option.

Modification to BorlandCCompiler.java
From:
private BorlandCCompiler() {
      super("bcc32", "-?",  new String[] { ".c", ".cc", ".cpp", ".cxx",
".c++" },
            new String[] { ".h", ".hpp", ".inl" }, ".obj", false, null );
    }

To:
private BorlandCCompiler() {
      super("bcc32", "-bogus", new String[] { ".c", ".cc", ".cpp", ".cxx",
".c++" },
            new String[] { ".h", ".hpp", ".inl" }, ".obj", false, null );
    }

Modification to BorlandProcessor.java

    public static String[] getOutputFileSwitch(String outFile) {
// Change the fo switch to -o
//      StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer("-fo");
      StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer("-o");

      quoteFile(buf,outFile);

      String[] retval = new String[] { buf.toString() };

      return retval;
    }
