Subject loadproperties syntax?
Date Tue, 10 Jun 2003 10:30:55 GMT
hello!

i was wondering if someone could help with ANTs loadproperties task. I
am trying to load props from an external file, without luck.

I noticed this in the docs for <property file=".." /> and wonder if
there is also a file format for loadproperties?

# By setting the file attribute with the filename of the property file
to load. This property file has the format as defined by the file used
in the class java.util.Properties.

current snippet is such:

	<loadproperties srcFile="${basedir}/ant-env.xml" />
	<input>testy=${testy}</input>

where ant-env.xml contains:
	<property name="testy" value="scratchy" />

its finding the file ok otherwise i get an error, but the property isn:t
set..

thanks!

/dc
