Subject RE: How to increase the build error limit beyond 100
Date Thu, 15 May 2003 07:13:42 GMT
According to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/changes.html#javac, javac in
J2SE 1.4.2 has two new options, -Xmaxerrors and -Xmaxwarns, which increase
the number of errors and warnings printed by javac. It is not available in
1.4.1 or earlier versions.

The new options are not documented in the javac documentation for 1.4.2, and
I have not tested them, so I am not completely sure if and how they work.

To use it in the ant javac task, a nested <compilerarg value="-Xmaxerrors
200"/> inside the javac task will probably work (not tested, since I am
using 1.4.1).
