You could build those string, but resolving the equation?...

if you're interested in string building, you can do this in a property file:
x = xxx
y = ${x}-yyy

then in the build.xml file:
<echo message="${y}">

You'd get:
xxx-yyy

....

And for math items, you might want to look at the PropertyFile task in the
optional task section....

In a property file I define a property X, let's say X=x,. Then I need to
define Y and Z base on the next logic: Y=x/y and Z=x/z, or in other words:
Y=${X}/y and Z=${X}/z. 

I know how to do it in a build descriptor but Is there a way to do it in a
property file?
