Its not that strange.  taskStarted and taskFinished are fired when the 
task starts and stops, *not* when the task *does* something like 
logging.  <echo>, in between starting and finishing, logs a message.  
The message is what you wanted.  But to only capture echo messages, 
you'll have to set a flag in taskStarted when its an echo task coming 
in, and key off that flag in messageLogged, and then reset that flag in 
taskFinished.  Voila!  :)
