Subject Re: Looping in ANT

When it comes to looping and such things,
I usually use the <script> tag and then do some BeanShell scripting inside
and manipulate variables etc from there.

BeanShell and Ant = two great tastes that taste great together.

From: Antoine Levy-Lambert <>
|In ANT itself there is no looping. There is a <foreach> task in ant-contrib
|What can be interesting for you in ant itself are the following tasks :
| - ant ===> execute another build file
| - antcall ===> execute a target in the same build file, passing
| - subant (new in ant 1.6alpha) =====> execute n build files found in a
|fileset or dirset such as
| <fileset dir="." includes="*/build.xml"/>
