Subject problems with ant install
Date Tue, 01 Apr 2003 06:54:22 GMT
Hi guys

This should be an easy problem to fix, I'm just blind and cant see it.
When running ant install on the exact same code, some of the programmers
can and some of them can't. They get the following error:

install:
[install] FAIL - Encountered exception java.io.IOException:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Document base
/home/warren/sira/Source_Code/build does not exist or is not a readable
directory

BUILD FAILED
file:/home/warren/sira/Source_Code/build.xml:361: FAIL - Encountered
exception java.io.IOException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
Document base /home/warren/sira/Source_Code/build does not exist or is
not a readable directory

line 361 is as follows: war="file://${build.home}"/>

Now the directory that it says does not exist in fact does exist as all
the compiled code seems to move into the build directory and since build
is recreated from scratch when compiled it should be readable by the
user who created it.

I'm running
Apache Ant version 1.5.1

If someone could point me in the right direction i would really
appreciate it.

Regards
Merritt
