Subject Fw: p4change task causes build to hang
Date Mon, 28 Apr 2003 20:29:10 GMT
I thought I had fixed in ant CVS a problem which has been reported on
different operating systems with ant 1.5.3
see this : http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18956
Mark, can you check whether the patch (of P4HandlerAdapter) did not go away
from your ant installation, causing the problem of <p4change/> making the
build hang to occur again ? It would be useful if you could download an ant
CVS head binary from this URL : http://cvs.apache.org/builds/ant/nightly/
and check whether these builds - which contain my fix - work for you.
If they do not work for you, then can you reopen the bug, which I had closed
may be prematurely.
In parallel, I am going to inquire in the community where I can get hold of
a Solaris machine on the Internet where I can test the Perforce tasks. (they
work under Win 2000).
Antoine
