Yes.

This is not significant.  The string given in archiveType is used in
several log messages, that's all.

We use org.apache.tools.zip.* - included in Ant's source tree.

<java> or <exec> would do.  In case of "jar" I'd suggest <apply> with
a "merge" <mapper>.
