Subject RE: How to sync two folders and preserve empty subfolders, but de lete obsolete ones?

Sorry, I just found out that my pre-processor has prefixed the task name
with include prefix. Now I do not know whether it is an expected behaviour.

- Alexey.

Did you run with -verbose or -debug? This shows you the real stack trace.
Try alternatively to put it in $ANT_HOME/lib. That's what I do to simplify
things. But I don't see anything wrong with your XML snippet, and I believe
it should work, so something else must be at play. I'd say you could try to
add

     <pathelement location="${ant.home}/lib/ant.jar"/>

to your classpath, but it shouldn't be necessary. --DD

Now how to make it work? I created a jar file with the class, added

  <taskdef name="lsync" classname="com.lgc.buildmagic.LocalSynchronize">
   <classpath>
     <pathelement location="path/to/lsync.jar"/>
   </classpath>
  </taskdef>

... and ANT cannot use it. Is it possible to see what was the real reason
for not finding a custom task?

- Alexey.

How can I get it? Could you please give me its URL?

Have you tried <lsync> I submitted to bugzilla? Sounds like what you need.
Much more intuitive than the <copy>/<delete>/<present> combo... --DD

<copy> with <delete> works fine except for empty directories. I am able to
delete all empty directories or preserve all of them regardless whether they
exist in original folder. How can I delete only folders that do not exist in
the original folder?
