Yes it can. But I am not sure it would be the most efficient thing.

I was talking about another anthill project : go to
http://www.urbancode.com/projects/anthill/default.jsp

If building your project is what you are looking for, AntHill and other
similar projects are the solution. They take some time to setup/configure,
but you'll win a lot in the middle+long run.
We now do all our releases through AntHill and it has saved us huge amount
of time. There is no time lost into doing sub-releases now. All is full
automatic. And we ensure that the release procedure (numbering, tagging,
unittesting, ...) is followed to the letter.

I just reached the Anthill site (is it the good one :
http://www.cs.unibo.it/projects/anthill/ ?), it seems that it is a litte bit
complex for what I need.

Since Ant is "full java", it could be called through JSP pages, isn't it ?
Or am I wrong (or naive) ?

I do not know what you want to do, but if you just want to be able to build
your project through a web interface, a product like AntHill (or similar)
could do it for you.

Subject: Ant calls from JSP

Hi,

Has anyone already used ant calls through JSP pages ?

Indeed, I want to be able to call ant scripts from my web admin console; I
can modify the JSP pages to achieve it but does anyone have advice / best
practices to do it ?

Thanks

David Alia
