Subject Re: Anyone using Ant with .Net?

I use a bit of it, primarily to work on a .net client for a java web
service. it isnt a serious client, more an interop test, but its been a
major driver on the (intermittent) evolution of the .net tasks built in to

the latter are very much better in ant1.6, you can do something like (I say
like, as I forget the exact syntax)

<csc ...>
 <src dir="src/cs" />
 <src dir="build/generated/wsdl/cs" />
 <define name="RELEASE" />
 <define name="NODEBUG" />
 <reference dir="lib" includes="*.dll" />

i need to make sure references are used to determine datedness,and then want
to mod the inclusion so it only includes managed dlls in the reference list,
skipping legacy win32 libraries. So you can just go
<reference dir="${Windows}\NET\1.0375" includes="*.dll" /> and pick up a ref
to all the managed dlls in the .net runtime.
