Hmm... the folder i have has so many files so it gives me this error.

[apply] The following character string is too long
[apply] -p0i.bak -e "s/\{2,}/ /gs" c:\testing\file01.jsp c:\testing\file02
blah, blah, blah.

is there a limit for this?(I guess there is)

is there a way to go around this?

something like (parallel="true" will execute one command with a very big
argument list):

<apply executable="perl" parallel="true">
  <arg value="-p0i.bak"/>
  <arg value="-e"/>
  <arg value="s/\s{2,}/ /gs"/>
  <srcfile/>
  <fileset dir="directory" includes="**/*.html"/>
</apply>
