in addition, from checking debug and verbose in ant I got the command used.
I try running the command itself and it simply doesn't work either. I get an
error=267 from ant in the stack traces when trying to invoke javac, and when
I try to invoke javac from the commandline with a sourcepath it come back
just [total 50ms] and does nothing, but it will compile a single file.

Any ideas?

Subject: JDK compiler woes:

in my build I am using javac fork=true and specifying a complete path to
javac. D:\jdk1.4.1\bin\javac.exe and I am using these other switches as

<javac fork="true" executable="${clientcompiler}" destdir="${buildclient}"
includeJavaRuntime="false" includeAntRuntime="false" verbose="true"
			<classpath refid="project.class.path"/>
			<src path="${javasourcedir}"/>
			<exclude name="public_html"/>
			<include name="/**"/>

this was working yesterday.Today I get this:

file:D:/builds/defaultbuild.xml:36: Error running D:\jdk1.4.1\bin\javac.exe

are there any known causes why I might get this error?
