Subject ANT Exit Codes
Date Mon, 16 Sep 2002 18:04:50 GMT
Because our ANT build script integrate with a legacy make system, we need to
be able to check for exit codes when a build script completes execution (I
know there is a better way, but this a temporary measure - read as "hack").

Does ANT provide exit codes? For example, if a build (javac) fails, is an
exit code returned from ANT that can be checked by, say, a shell script?

Thanks,
Tim

Maybe I phrased that badly... if it is accepted, how
long would it be between now and its acceptance?
Also, is there an ant-dev archive that is current?
The one from the site seems not to have been updated
this year.
