Hi Uli,

One little complement on Cactus: It now supports option 1 and an example
is provided for starting jetty from within the test (however it is
generic for all app server). That said, the principle is exactly the
same as when you start the server before you start the tests (the junit
test still has to perform an HTTP connection a servlet inside the
application server). Did you have something else in mind?
